For myself and I will assume many other pagans Faith is not something we have in life like most religious people, we do not live our life believing that some supernatural all power being is guiding our destiny.

We know that we are the Masters and Mistress of our own lives our choices are our own and we take that responsibility square on and face what is coming to us. We seek guidance from our gods and goddess, which can come in the form of ideas, dreams, symbols, visions and advice from friends, which we are left to interpret.

All pagans have their fears and doubts we are not immune to human emotions we just have learned to listen to the quite voice inside that says that you’re on the right path and many of us have learnt a lesson or 2 by ignoring it.

This inner voice is often called a conscious, intuition, the inner voice and subconscious. I prefer to call it intuition since someone describes intuition as the Inner Tutor.

Communicating with the inner tutor happens as part of the normal psychological behaviour of us humans. It can be an inner monologue with oneself, a dialogue with your higher self or even instinct (Gut Instinct). But we are all capable of doing it and many do it at time when they need guidance.

For me I believe that we are three in one like the goddess and god, a physical form (our bodies) a spiritual form (astral self / higher self / The soul) and the eternal self (the part of the divine that make us the divine) and the Inner Tutor is that part of us which know all that was and all that will become.

By learning to communicate with our inner tutor helps us achieve the best life, now if we accept that we have Karmic debts to pay we know that our lives will not be perfect and trouble free but by listening to inner tutor we can make our journey smoother.

Now as mention I see us like the goddess and god three in one and the Inner tutor acts on each self in a different way. The inner tutor acts on the physical form and produces physical responses “the Gut instinct” which is very primal and speaks without word and invokes physical responses those feelings on uneasiness, fear, dislike and like that we experience each day of our life that guide us to chose friends, lovers, holiday destinations, small choices turn left not right etc.

The inner tutor to the spiritual form is as much a part of us as our own thought and ideas. We communicate and sometime argue with this tutor it our inner guiding light this is the light that leads us to spiritual and physical wellness, it communicates through internal dialogues it shows us our hopes and dreams and limitations as well as in dream states, meditation. This tutor also allows us to read signs and symbols for ourselves and for others it gives us foresight and hindsight so that we make the right choices.

The final of the three forms is the eternal tutor one that hold all the information and is a conduit of that information it can be referred to as morphic resonance (a term coined by Rupert Sheldrake) or collective memory that is shared by all creatures. Morphic resonance is the creative intelligence that we all share. (According to the hypothesis of formative causation, all self-organizing systems, including crystals, plants and animals contain an inherent memory, given by a process called morphic resonance from previous similar systems. All human beings draw upon a collective human memory, and in turn contribute to it. Even individual memory depends on morphic resonance rather than on physical memory traces stored within the brain.).

Contacting your Inner tutors.

There are many ways in which dragons emerge from the realm of the occult. We see dragon symbolism both literally in paintings and figurines and figuratively in legend and lore. Dragons have been making history since the beginning of time, no matter which religion or theory you subscribe to.

Paganism has also been around since the beginning of time and Pagan belief is filled with the mystical creatures. Pagans have always worshipped the gods and goddesses of their culture, as well as nature, which they believe to be the manifestation of their deities. One of the best known modern Pagan practices is Wicca.

I am quite familiar with Wicca, but recently in my studies, I’ve come across an unfamiliar branch (at least to me) called Draconian Wicca. While Wiccans focus on gods and goddesses, Draconian Wiccans focus on, as you may have figured out, dragons, with the dragon representing both god and goddess, light and dark, and most of all, balance. Where in all traditions, dragons represent wisdom and power, those who follow The Dragon Path take it one step further, appointing the dragon as All-That-Is and incorporating ceremonial magick.

So while not actually defined as a tradition of Wicca, Draconian Wicca shares many of its defining elements. It has a code of honor and its own holidays and festivals. Like traditional Wicca, different dragons represent the different elements (earth, air, water, fire), all of which may be worked with in different ways for different purposes. There are also clergy and like most religions, it is thought that the best way of passing down the tradition is from teacher to student.

Draconian Wicca has its own spiritual guides as well. People who believe can chat with and even befriend dragons. As the creatures live on astral planes, the communication is magical.

The skill of changing one object / person or animal into another has been part of history, literature and mythology. The ability to transform is either done by will, a spell /potion or curse or as simply by disguise. Throughout religious text the gods have used skin walking to speak / teach or impregnate (or just have sex) people. There are countless myths where one god changes in to another creature or human either to trick or teach, these myths appear in nearly all religions. Around the world in folklore skin walking pays a major part of many myths, and there are countless tales of a person being transformed in to a animal, plant or object.
As people we love the idea of being able to change we are fascinated by the idea that with a flick of a wand or the correct words could change us in to something new. We have created creatures to scare us such as the vampire or werewolf or Mr Jekyll / Mr Hyde as well as heroes such as Doctor Who or Maya (space 1999). We are so driven by the chance of change that we will even put ourselves under a surgeon’s knife.
When we look at skin walking it does seem to belong more in the Hollywood Circle rather than a magickal circle it seem to be more dream like rather than a practical skill, but transformations are a major part of a witches life and skin walking is a skill.
Ok I am not saying that you can change yourself in to another animal / person (or am I )? You have to step away from the Harry Potter school of witchcraft to understand the potential and skills needed for skin walking, everyone has heard the saying “put your self in their shoes” well that really is the heart of skin walking being able to understand the nature of another. So how is it done?
One of the most simplistic forms of skin walking is “dress up” by wearing a costume to disguise yourself as another taking time to change and we all do this everyday without notice we get up dress for work changing us into an Office worker / shop assistant or boss at home we are transformed in to mums and dads or children when we go out we change again. We spend our whole lives in a constant state of transformation most we ignore.
When we look at skin walking as a witches skill we have to look at it as a tool to gain understanding and I am sure that you will have at least one glamour spell in you book of shadows these spells do not change you on a physical level they change you on a psychological level, giving you extra confidence and a feeling of true inner strength to accomplish what ever you need. That what you need to understand, those transmogrifications do not change the external (*) appearance but the internal understanding of the object, person, animal or plant.
In shamanic practices a shaman will enter a trance state and become an animal so he or she can fly or run across the spiritual plane to retrieve information or special ingredients or request help from the spirits /deities. The shaman will have part of the animal the he or she wishes to transform in to, a feather or fir. The basic idea is that if you know what another’s energy feels like then you can change your energies to match it.
Techniques for Shape shifting
Animal Shape shifting
Choose the animal you wish to transform in to. I suggest an animal you already know a bird, cat or dog. As this is probably one of the easy animal to transform into as you practice you can choose other animals including mythical ones.
Clear some space a fair bit of space as you will be moving around, find some music that you can associate with the animal your going to need up to an hour of music (I find drumming works well or music without lyrics are best).
Start of in Balasana the Child pose in yoga (if arm position is uncomfortable the put them in front of you).
Start rhythmical breathing while meditating on the animal thinking about it nature and what it does once you feel comfortable that you have a clear image of the animal the transformation can continue.
Start with the fingertips visualise them changing (I am going to use a dog for the rest of information but please adjust to the animal of your choice).
Feel your finger tips becoming paws your finger shorten the palms of your hands becoming pads move your hands to just in front of your knees, palms on the floor visualise your hands as paws see the transformation continuing up your arms straightening them until they feel like the legs of a dog. Continue the visualisation of the change working across your chest and down your body and into your legs and feet feel the transformations, your body will move into the position of the dog you can feel your tail growing and your body should begin to feel canine. Once your body arms and legs have been transformed you will need to focus your visualisation to your head feel your skull change your jaw lengthen into a muzzle you teeth growing in to canine teeth your ears lengthening.
If you have done this correctly you should not only look like a dog but you should feel like one. Whilst holding the visualisation move your body walk around the space (on all fours) bark or growl or howl what ever feels natural do what you feel is right just spend sometime experiencing what is like to be a dog. When you’re ready to end, unlike most visualisation don’t reverse the journey you need to shake the visualisation off (the same way a wet dog would shake water from it fur (same way for all animals)). You may need to shake a number of times to get the disguise off if any bit remain brush off with your hands.
Sit in quite contemplation now for a few minutes examining what you felt and learned. Open your eyes and ground yourself and write up your experiences. Repeat this process often trying different animals
Once you have learnt how to transform you can extend the practice where you can just assume the animal’s guise in the spiritual realms helping you to move swiftly and without being seen.

Witchcraft Spells and the Wicca are of Black Magic has so many rumors and myths it is impossible to keep up. If you do a basic search of any of the above terms you will find countless pages dedicated to Black Magic, Wicca, Witchcraft and more. What pages have the RIGHT information and directions if a person wants to learn about the Wicca faith?

How can one tell what is written in truth and what is not?

A good way to start to study the REAL aspects of Wicca Witchcraft or Black Magick is to read, read and read some more. Overall, the TRUTH will have more wrtitten about it then the myths or superstitions. Websites that are truth based will be plentiful and sites with made up stories and facts will be far less and many will not match. In other words, the Wicca faith is a faith that has positive and overall GOOD aspects but a few people will write negative things about it. Just as any faith. The same holds true for Witchcraft and Black Magic. The Term Balck Magick sounds evil in itself but did you know it is simply a term used to describe what type of Witchcraft it is? In other words, Black Magic can be used for good.

Consider Black Magick, Witchcraft or any faith of the “Magick” realm a tool per se. This tool can be used for good or evil. It truly depends on the person using the tool. The tool itself is not evil or dark.

Now, the majority of Witchcraft practicioners are dark and the majority or Wicca or Wiccans are of a positive or good nature. Of course there are exceptions to both. Also, Black Magic is a dark or negative art for the most part but once again, this is NOT the case 100% of the time. The bottom line is to educate yourself on all aspects so you can clearly find what is real and what is false.

Black Magic Witchcraft can actually be used for good and many positive things.

Now no matter what path or belief the one thing we must accept is that we are human beings and with that comes emotions. And with all things in life their is a balance some people will say that there are positive and negative emotion I would prefer to say that emotions are neutral and it is how we deal with them makes them positive or negative.

Now like any normal person I have my range of emotion from love to hate and Joy and sadness as well as some less than desirable ones like jealousy, envy but how do I deal with these emotions.

Well the first thing is to notice them and evaluate them ask yourself why do I feel this way or that way? I accept the fact that I have negative feelings and look for the reason within myself for feeling them.

Now I have found that many of, it not all my negative emotions are born out of fear. These fears can be little or big but they have to be dealt with some may be defeated some may just be driven back into the darkness to arise again and again but each time they become weaker until they are truly defeated.

So how do you deal with negative emotions?

The first thing is to notice when you are having one, now negative emotions do show them self in though. Now I am going to use a very common emotion envy, now we have all walked past a person that is slim and attractive and made a comment like “skinny bitch” or “you can get a body like without steroids” now what really happens is desire (envy)! to look and feel that confident so you take your negative fears and direct them at that person. Now apart from the ethical idea that sending negativity out causes harm you also get that energy back three fold, which only reinforces your own fears and help it take root.

Now the first time you hear your self make one of these negative comments stop and ask your self why you said it listen to the response. Find out what you are afraid of and find ways to over come it in most cases daily positive affirmations can help you overcome your inner fears. (sample list at end )

Now as an eclectic pagan personal growth is just as important as spiritual growth as I believe that as we grow in age and knowledge we become open to new truths and those truths are stepping-stones to greater spiritual knowledge. It only when we open our eyes can we see. Now I am always learning a lot about myself and the divine and I still have negative thoughts! as I have fears.

Now Sogyal Rinpoche can express this understanding far better than I could explain in “Glimpse of the Day”

One is the ego, garrulous, demanding, hysterical, calculating; the other is the hidden spiritual being, whose still voice of wisdom you have only rarely heard or attended to. Now we cannot use rituals or spells to remove our egos but we can learn to control our egos once we learn to silence the inner voices that say we are better than or less than can we truly allow our inner tutors to teach us the right way to be.

Description: Ēostre or Ostara is as the Venerable Bede said the origin of the word is actually from Eostre, a Germanic goddess of spring. Eostre is a very obscure Goddess, and uniquely Anglo-Saxon Heathen. She is not mentioned at all in the Norse corpus, and there are only fleetingly in the Old English by Bede in De Temporum Rationale. Some scholars have even conjectured that she may not have even been a goddess but rather just the Germanic name for the celebration that took place around the time of Vernal equinox.
