Simple Fire Reading

casting a spell 150x150 Simple Fire ReadingI love this easy fire reading format and it does not require a big fire to be lit all you need is a white candle and holder, a table and a chair.

You need to insure that you get the right size candle and holder so spend the time finding right candle size and holder. Once you have done this you will not need to do again.

To work out position and size of candle and holder sit at the table and place elbow on the edge of the table and palms flat on table in a relax position and holder and candle should be place between your two hands in the centre. The height of the candle and holder should be such that it the wick is at eye level.

When your ready to start, do a simple invocation and light the candle.

Gently gaze at the flame (do not stare at it).

Allow you gaze past and through the flame.

Your gaze will become focused on the wick and the light and colour being produced from the flame.

Once you have past through the flame close your eyes and allow the images to flow if nothing comes then try again. If nothing still does not come stop and try another day

Remember to write up any thoughts feelings and or images

Keep note on day times and moon phases.

Mondays, or days when the atmosphere is very heavily charged with electrical forces, such as stormy weather, are bad conditions for consultation, for then the omens are often erratic or inaccurate. The best conditions, of all our present in the calm of the evening. About two hours after sundown. Strict silence must be maintained during the shaking and throwing.
If the same number, what ever is domination should turn up more than once during a consultation. It signifies the advent of important news. To throw the dice. The Chocolate Ritual

humor 208x300 The Chocolate RitualMaterials required: On the altar there are brown candles; a Tootsie Roll (the great big one – as the athame;) a large glass with milk in it, (the chalice;) A small dish of Nestle’s Quik and a spoon; a small dish of chocolate sprinkles; a plate of cupcakes and some Yoo-Hoo along with a goblet.

CLEANSE THE SACRED SPACE:

(Take the small bowl of chocolate sprinkles)

Chocolate sprinkles where thou art cast
No calories in thy presence last.
Let no fat adhere to me,
And as I will So Mote It BE!

Nestle’s Quik where thou art cast
Turn this milk to chocolate, fast.
Let all good things come to me,
And make my milk all chocolatey!

CAST THE CIRCLE (using a tootsie roll):

CALL THE QUARTERS:

Mousse of the East, Fluffy one!
Great prince of the palace of dessert.
Be present, we pray thee,
And guard this circle from all moochers
Approaching from the East.

Fondue of the South, Molten One!
Great prince of the palace of decadence.
Be present we pray thee,
And guard this circle from all diets
Approaching from the south.

Cocoa of the west, Satisfying One!
Great prince of the palace of thirst.
Be present we pray thee,
And guard this circle from all carob
Approaching from the West.

Rocky Road of the North, Cold one!
Great prince of the palace of crunchy.
Be present we pray thee,
And guard this circle from all cheap imitations
Approaching from the North.

MAIN RITUAL:

HANDMAIDEN (Henceforth known as the Swiss Miss):
Listen to the words of the Mother of Chocolate; who was of old called; Godiva, Ethel M, Sara Lee, Nestle, Mrs. See, and by many other names:

HPS:
Whenever you have one of those cravings, once in a while and better it be when your checkbook is full, then shall you assemble in a great public place and bring offerings of money to the spirit of Me, who is Queen of all Goodies.

In the Mall shall you assemble, you who have eaten all your chocolate and are hungry for more. To you I shall bring Good Things for your tongue.

And you shall be free from depression, and as a sign that you are truly free, you shall have chocolate smears on your cheeks, and you shall munch, nosh, snack, feast, and make yummy noises, all in my presence. For mine is the ecstasy of phenylalanine (FEEN-EL-AL-A-NEEN), and mine also is Joy on Earth, yea, even into High Orbit, for my law is “Melts in your mouth, not in your hand.”

Keep clean your fingers, carry Wet Ones always, let none stop you or turn you aside. For mine is the secret that opens your mouth, and mine is the taste that puts a smile on your lips and comfy, padding pounds on your hips.

I am the Gracious Goddess who gives the gift of joy unto the tummies of men and women. Upon earth, I give knowledge of all things delicious, and beyond death……..well, I can’t do much there. Sorry about that.

I demand only your money in sacrifice; for behold, chocolate is a business, and you have to pay for those truffles before you eat them.

SWISS MISS:
Hear now the words of the Goodie Goddess, she in the dust of whose feet are the cheap imitations, whose body graces candy racks and finer stores everywhere:

HPS:
I, who am the beauty of chocolate chips, and the satisfying softness of big bars, the mystery of how they get the filling inside of truffles, and fill the hearts of all but Philistines with desire, call unto thy soul to arise and come unto me. For I am the soul of candy; from me do all confections spring, and unto me all of you shall return, again…..and again……….and again………………and again

Before my smeared face, beloved of Women and Men, thine innermost divine self shall be enfolded in the rapture of overdose.

Let my taste be within thy mouth that rejoices. For behold, all acts of yumminess and pleasure are my rituals. Therefore let there be gooeyness and mess, crispness and crackling, big slabs and bite size pieces, peanut butter and chocolate covered cherries all within you.

And you who think to seek me, know that your seeking and yearning shall avail you not unless you know the Mystery; “We will sell no chocolate until you pay for it.”

For behold; I have been with you since you were just a baby, and I am that which is attained at nearly any shop in the land.

Messed Be.

SWISS MISS:
Hear now the words of the Chocolate God, who was of old called Ghirardelli, Milton Snavely Hershey, Bosco, Fudgesicle, and by many other names.

HP:
I am the strength of the candy rack, and the piece that fell on the floor, but looks like it might not have gotten too dirty, and the deepest bitterness of dark chocolate. No matter how you try to resist the call of chocolate, I will hunt you out and I will become your sacred prey. I am the warmth of hot cocoa in the dead of winter, and the call of the road that leads you to that really expensive Godiva store downtown.

I give you, my creatures, the fire of love of chocolate, the power of jaw strength to bite off a piece of that frozen Milky Way bar, and the shelter of Haagen Daz when that big date didn’t work out. You are dear to me, and I instill in you my power; the power of a piece of chocolate that you had forgotten you had hidden, and the power of vision and magickal sight with which you can spot a candy counter a mile away.

By the powers of the half melted bar in the glorious sun, I charge you; by the darkest depths of the bottom of the cocoa pot and the lingering smell of bittersweet chocolate, I charge you; and by the beauty of a perfectly swirled vanilla butter cream, I charge you:

Follow your heart and your instinct, wherever they lead you. The wealth in your pocket can buy you treats that a Mayan king would envy. Take joy in that first bite of lecithin emulsified cocoa, and in the last satisfying slurp of Yoo-Hoo. Yet you must be wary of deceit. Eat not of that which is called “Baking Chocolate,” for it is vile and bitter.

Lastly, always remember to leave some chocolate behind you. Be not greedy, but let yourself be known as a connoisseur. Leave a little for someone else.

I am with you always, just over your shoulder, or around the next corner. I am the Lord of Chocolate, and when you have reached the end of your hoard, I will never be farther away from you than that 7-Eleven on the corner. I am the spirit of the Wild Child; the Inner Child who can never get quite enough. If you are a true chocolate lover, then your soul and mine are intertwined.

CUPCAKES & YOO-HOO:

(The blessing of the Yoo-Hoo)

HP:
Be it known that milk chocolate is not better than dark chocolate.

HPS:
Nor is dark chocolate better than milk chocolate.

HP:
For both are better than the falsely named ‘white chocolate,’

HPS:
And neither one is carob.

HP:
As the frosting is to the cupcake,

HPS:
So the creamy nougat is to the Milky Way Bar.

BOTH:
And when they are eaten, they are yummy in truth, for there is no greater snack in all the world than one made of chocolate.

(The blessing of the cupcakes)

HP:
Frosting is keen,

HPS:
And the filling is neat.

BOTH:
Great Goddess! Let’s eat!

Feasting and drinking (chocolate liqueur, if possible,) music and dance.

Dismiss Quarters.

HPS:
Oh, ye mighty goodies of the ______,
We thank you for attending our rites and guarding our circle
And ere you depart for your sweet and sticky realms,
We say unto you, “N-E-S-T-L-E-S, Nestles makes the very best.”

ALL:
“Chooooc-laaate.”

(After all quarters have been dismissed, give a final, satisfying belch at the East.)

Close circle.

The Runic Internal Energy system

yggdrasil 221x300 The Runic Internal Energy systemMuch is written about the Yggdrasil, the world tree that supports the nine worlds on 3 levels of being. The concept of a central pole, pillar, tree that holds the cosmos together, dividing and connecting the heavens and the earth is found all over the world, in many cultures (totem poles, Chinese tree of life, the kabbalah, Yggdrasil, the Saxon Irminsul etc).

All of these can correlate to the human spine( the microcosm of the universes macrocosm).

Starting at the head (where Feorh is generated) and working down the spin to the lumbar area there are 24 vertebrae, equating to the runes Feoh to Doeg. The sacrum is composed of 5 bones fused together equating to the runes Ac to Ear, the coccyx 3 bones equating to the runes Calc to Stan. This gives us 32 runes. As the Sacrum and coccyx are fused together as a single entity they create the final (33rd) rune; Gar. This gives us not 3 aetts but 4, the fourth aetts expanding on the meanings of the others.

By meditation on the rune corresponding to each vertebrate we can engage on internal energy work, moving up or down the spine to explore the runes and the worlds.

Always start at Midgarđ (9th thoracic vertebra) and work up to Asgarđ (the skull) or down to Niflheim (between the 3rd and 4th sacral vertebra. About the level with the pubic bone at the front of the body). ALWAYS leave at Midgarđ too!! Working down the body draws in sky energies whilst working up the body draws in earth energies. Remember balance and harmony! As always ground your self afterward.

Tree Lore and the tree calendar

yggdrasil 221x300 Tree Lore and the tree calendarTrees have always played a great part in the lives of human beings, and in magic’s they represent the symbol of life regeneration and rebirth and to some said to contain sacred knowledge. Trees are used, from everything from a source to creating shelters heat and tools.

The wood from the trees has been also used as a sign of authority. Many kings and queens priests and priestesses would carry a staff of rowan , oak, Birch or beach. These trees were considered to be incarnations of the gods, and by carrying the staff would show others of their authority, and that their power was directed from the gods themselves.

The image of trees in the pagan in a neopagan faith has always been considered to be magical and the symbol of the tree is used to connect the three rounds (roots), the underworld, (trunk of tree). The earthly realm, and (the branches) the heavens and the worlds beyond.

It is even said that the phrase “ as above, so below” comes from trees, due to the fact that way trees grow their branches and roots seem to be of similar shape and size, the as above, refers to this almost identical shaping of roots and branches, whilst the so below, refers to the idea that whatever is created in the heavens manifests itself in the one of the major principles behind all kinds of magic.

The trees are also appeared in folklore and mythology as places where gods have sacrificed themselves or have been used to imprison or track, evil spirits. Trees are also said to be the homes of nature spirits, including those of Sylphs, fairies and Gnomes.

Trees have always been considered sacred in one form or another, although much of this is credited to Druids and the Celts; the Druids have gone on to develop tree magics most particularly in healing practices, and the art of divination. The ancient Celtic Ogham alphabets and the Celtic calendar has been standardised by Druids by allocating the 13 new moons four seasons and the winter solstice to 13 sacred trees. The Beth-luis-Nion calendar, which was reconstructed by Robert Graves (author of the book. The white) is a contemporary version of the ancient calendar and alphabet and was reconstructed from an ancient poem called the song of Amergin.

Starting at the winter solstice, the Beth-luis-Nion calendar has 13 lunar months, which starts and ends with a new moon with one extra day being added to the calendar for the winter solstice. Below is the Beth-luis-Nion three calendar.

farewell 150x150 Christian exploits local superstitious beliefsEven as a small child I had a big interest in magicks and witchcraft, from TV programs like bewitched, Tabitha, I dream of Genie, etc to Hammer Horror films about witches even today I still like films like The Craft, Witches etc.

But I always see them as good entertainment rather than a practical skill for the craft but the interest in magicks and power has always remained, so the soon as I hear the words, witch, pagan or magicks on the TV or Radio I turn my attention to it not just for entertainment but also for educational purposes.

Now over the last few years (decades) we have allsorts of programs on witches and witchcraft. Although many are crap sometimes a little gem will pop up. Now I have been trying to avoid the subject of African witchcraft not though a squeamish feeling and the fact much of the rubbish spouted is from Christians is that is not one of my areas of expertise and I was not sure how to deal with it.

Now the other day I hear the words witchcraft and prostitution in the same sentence from the TV so I turned my head and it was a program of the sex trade from Nigeria. I sat down and watched now the one thing I saw was belief that these people had in traditional magicks now rightly or wrongly their beliefs trapped them in a contact that would last for seven years plus.

Now I could not decide whether the priest had done anything wrong they preformed a ritual for protection and included in the ritual was a pledge that the woman would pay back the cost of travel to Europe which was about €50,000.

Now the one thing I felt was the people taking and recruiting these young where using the strong belief in magicks to trap the girls.

Now as I looked at African witchcraft once again I saw nothing more impressive that a traditional cultural craft now it’s not down to me to discuss the value of African witchcraft as it a cultural craft and as I am not part of that culture.

But it did give me a greater understanding of the beliefs of that culture. So much so I felt that I could tackle the issues of child abuse in the name of Christianity. There has not been much in the press on the subject for sometime but that does not mean it has not gone away. Thousands of children have been abused and murdered because the have been accused of being witches and wizards. No not in the 15th / 16th century but today and for the last few years because of the words of a Helen Ukpabio who claims that Satan has the ability to manifest himself in the bodies of children by demonic possession and make them become his servants in the form of ‘witches’ or ‘wizards’.

Her video basically give reasons and signs which basically make every child one of these witches or wizards, so open to abuse tortured, starved and murdered: all in the name of Jesus Christ.

Now the first thing we have to understand is Nigeria is a very poor place so survival can be difficult and Africans believe that any ill fortune is caused by witchcraft, which can leave them looking for someone to blame.

Christians priest who gain money from protecting people from witches often accuse children of being witches. Now children have no power to say they’re are not a witch. Now the priest will charge a family a year’s money so they can abuse a child in the name of Jesus Christ.

Any child accused of being a witch can be abandoned or killed. Nigerians have such a strong belief in witchcraft that fear of witches and wizards that they do not see children when they are beating, torturing, staving them to death.

I am going to include a link to a documentary http://www.channel4.com/programmes/dispatches/4od#3008630 so you can watch but it is very distressing as it contain scenes, which will make you cry. But please don’t believe that this witchcraft hunt and the abuse of children is just contained to Nigeria cases of abuse in the name of witchcraft have been recorded in Nigerian communities in the UK and USA and in other countries around the world by followers of Helen Ukpabio and Liberty Foundation Gospel Ministries (http://libertyfoundationgospelministries.org ).

This Christian exploits local superstitious beliefs, particularly those related to spiritual or demonic possession or witchcraft along with her followers. The government in Nigeria is not really that bothered about the suffering of these children.

Now it been sometime since we heard anything on the subject of child witches and their abuse in Nigeria so did it all stop sadly no it has not. No body has ever been prosecuted for the abused, murder children accused of witchcraft. Now although the idea of this may shock but the Nigerian governor says abuse of child ‘witches’ exaggerated (http://edition.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/africa/08/30/nigeria.child.witchcraft/index.html ) he claims that for the last 3 years the same children have been put up as abused witch children and those charities like http://www.steppingstonesnigeria.org/ are doing it for financial means.

Now I have seen other documentaries that have been created on witch children and the abuse that they receive one based in the UK. People like Helen Ukpabio and Liberty Foundation Gospel Ministries have found away to exploit poor and fearful people not only do they take their money but they abuse and kill children in the name of a man who believed in love and kindness Jesus Christ now.

Now as a witch I have learnt that fear can cause people to harm others in our own history witches where killed through fear and ignorance nearly all where adults who could fight back.

We as a people said we would never let the burning times return we fought for rights slowly returning to the world head held high broomsticks in hand. It now time to shine a light on the darkness and expose the evil of Helen Ukpabio and Liberty Foundation Gospel Ministries and all those that harm children.

We need to question what is going on and force people to act against harming children everywhere

To make Bad Luck go away

witch spells 150x150 To make Bad Luck go awayItems: Cauldron – A piece of paper

Time: At night

Ritual: light a small fire in a cauldron or what ever you have available to contain the fire. Write on a piece of paper that is 3 inches x 3 inches, the words BAD LUCK. Then write down any bad things you do not like in your life right now.

Then draw a big X across the paper with a black marker. While doing this you should be thinking of how all these things are going to disappear from your life, never to return! Place the paper in the fire and repeat the following words 3 times:

“Fire, fire burning bright turn my darkness into light!
Take away my bad luck ill; bring me nothing but goodwill.
Bad luck came and stayed to long, be gone forever, be gone, be gone!
With this fire burning bright, bring me good luck, bring me light!”
“SO MOTE IT BE!”

After repeating these words 3 times, sit for a few minutes and concentrate on the bad luck being gone and the good luck coming your way! When you are done extinguish the fire.

Alban Elfed Stags and Cernunnos

cern 150x150 Alban Elfed Stags and CernunnosFor the second time in the solar cycle. We stand equally between light and dark time instead of moving from darkness to light. We now move from light to dark and it is the time of the autumn Equinox, celebrated by Druids and Celtic traditions are Alban Elfed, (the light of the water in the Druid tradition).

Although most of the celebrations are related to agriculture and harvest and giving thanks to the fields. One of the major symbols depicted in Celtic charms is the stag, which is used to symbolise nature surviving through the hard times of winter. The stag is closely associated to Cernunnos horned God. Also known as the Lord of animals or the laws of wild things.

Cernunnos is often seen with horns, cross-legged in shamanic pose with the torc around his neck and in one hand and with a snake in the other. Cernunnos is depicted with seven points on his horns and often in the company of a stag. The stag is the symbol for Cernunnos or Herne, the horned gods; and is also is sometimes associated with the Green Man  and with gods of the Underworld.  Moreover, the Druid’s Horned God of Fertility, Hu Gadarn, was usually portrayed with the head of a stag.  Also, the Man in the Tree, or Derg Corra, is always accompanied by a stag. He is the Celtic guardian of knowledge.

The stag and itself symbolology, played a large part in the Celtic belief system. They were considered to be animals of the supernatural, and occasionally called faerie cattle both the stag and the deer are often considered manifestations of the male and female deities.

Hind, Eilid, represents gracefulness, subtlety and femininity.

Stag, Damh, symbolizes independence, pride and purification. He is King of the Forest, protector of its creatures and represents the Sun, warrior’s virility and fertility.

According to Celtic mythology, the role of the underworld would send a white hind or stag to guide chosen in humans into the underworld.

During the Medieval times. It was believed that the power of a deer or stag could be accessed from its skin a reason why a number of ceremonial magicians will have or make amulets or talismans made from deerskin parchment.

Even today, the symbol of the stag still holds power, and it is common to find ritual items that contain stag horn or the symbol of a stag or deer. Used in talismans and amulets and jewellery shop drugs and coat of arms.

In animal magic deer’s and Stags are used in an embodiment of particular correspondences-the deer: gracefulness, subtlety and the goddess; there’s stag: Independents, purity, power, virility, protection, and God.

Stags and deer’s have always captured our imagery and appear in ancient mythologies as well in modern day fairy tales.
