There are different ways to read tea leaves,
inside the cup or on the platter; symbology,
placement of leaves or stylized pictures with
meanings. This is a psychic art which is very
ancient and these are guidelines more than rules.
This is one of the more straightforward of the
lot and, makes reading leaves an enjoyable hazzle
free act. This psychic art is best done when
trying to look at where the fates will be taking
you in the future year. If you are doing this for
yourself do not perform this again until 13 moons
have passed, unless you have a specific question
to ask the tea leaves. If your question is not
specific the tea leaves may give you a confusing
answer.
Best done on a Waxing or Full MoonWhat you will need:
1 cup water
1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea
1 teapot
1 teacup
1 tea saucer
matches or a lighter
1 purple candle 6" in lengthPreparation:
Take your loose tea leaves and make your tea in
your pot with 1 cup hot water. Once it is done
pour the tea, leaves included into your teacupCasting the Spell:
1. Cast your protective circle
2. Light the purple candle, saying:
"Spirit of fortune
Guide me and show
The line of my future
and all I must know"
3. Pour unstrained tea into the cup
4. Drink your tea until about a teaspoon of fluid
remains in the bottom of the teacup
5. Swirl the leaves around 13 times, in a
clockwise fashion, then turn the cup over onto
the saucer.
6. Read the leaves as follows, from these general
