Probably one of the simplest and most widely used tools within magicks is the charm bags, Mojo bag, amulet Bag, gris-gris bag, medicine bag etc. Charm bags exist in nearly every culture and country around the world. The uses of charm bags are limitless.

They are extremely simple to construct a magical ingredients are placed in a cloth or small container which is then either worn or placed in a place which is deemed appropriate sometimes they are a hung from doors, wall or windows.

Some of the ingredients in a charm, bag include botanicals, bones, beads, small amulets, crystals, Stones, metal, and even graveyard dust or other depending on its purpose is.

He’s really made from cloth that including felt and leather, fabric pouch is then filled with the ingredients climbed steadily, and sometimes placed in a larger bag or container. Some of the containers can be elaborately decorated with carvings and precious gems. The word Mojo refers to powers being admitted from the container and because the bag may be opened or closed ingredients can be added or removed as desired. It is traditional to feed your Mojo or charm bag and with magical powders or even alcohol at least once a week to ensure that the energy does not dissipate or die.

Although the is found worldwide, some of the most sophisticated and creative and extremely powerful, charm bags originate from African cultures. And this charm bag are often red in colour and close to the drawstring, although the colour will depend on its purpose is.

How to create a Mojo or charm, bag.

It is important to think about the purpose of your bag and your ingredients, and any other correspondences that you may feel appropriate set in this example we will create a Mojo back for protection.

The bag.

Fabric colour to suit purpose. You’ll need a little more than twice your bag’s dimensions. So, if your bag will be 12″ by 5″, then you want fabric that is at least 24″ plus 1 1/2″ by 5″ plus 1″.

You’re also going to need some cord, ribbon, or whatever you plan on using for a drawstring. You will need the diameter of your bag plus at least 8″. In the example above, I am making a bag that is 5″ wide, so the diameter will be 10″. I will need 10″ plus 8″ of cord.

Once you have your dimensions, cord and your fabric, follow these easy step-by-step instructions below to learn how to sew a drawstring bag… within minutes (yes minutes) !

1. Cut your fabric so that the length is twice the finished length plus 1 1/2″.

Example: The finished width of my bag will be 12″. So I will cut my fabric to be 24″ plus 1 1/2″ long… 25 1/2″.

2. Cut your fabric so that the width is the finished width plus 1/2″.

Example: The finished width of my bag will be 5″. So I will cut my fabric to be 5″ plus 1/2″ wide… 5 1/2″.

3. Serge or overlock stitch the raw edges. If you don’t have an overlock stitch, you can sew a zig-zag stitch along your raw edges.

4. Fold the fabric in half… right sides together… wrong sides facing out… aligning the raw side edges and the raw top edges. The folded edge will be the bottom of your bag.

5. Press and pin if necessary.

6. On one side, sew all the way up the side edges with a 1/4″ seam. Be sure to back stitch in the beginning and end of the stitching to lock the stitch.

7. Measure down the other raw side edge 3/4″ and mark with a pin.

8. Sew a 1/4″ to sew the other side seam… but this time stop at the pin mark. Be sure to back stitch in the beginning and end of the stitching to lock the stitch.

9. Fold down the top raw edge a 1/4″ and press.

10. Fold down the top edge again 1/2″ and press. The folded edge created in step 9 should align with the mark made in step 7.

11. Starting at the mark made in step 7, stitch around the bag close to the folded edge created in step 9. This will create the pocket for your drawstring.

12. Turn the bag right side out and press well.

13. Slide your drawstring through the pocket. You may want to use some wire and a safety pin to help pull the cord through the pocket.

And your done! Pull the drawstring to gather the opening closed and tie.

Once your bag has been created, you will then need to select the appropriate content for its purpose and in this case. We are going to fill it with items of protection.

Ingredince

Parchment paper

black snake root, tied with ribbon (red)

small piece of jet

some brick dust.

A piece of eggshell

garlic powder, or garlic

iron filings

Cut a square of parchment paper and fold across the diagonal creating a triangle and if you feel that you want to draw any Runes or sigils you feel appropriate,’ and the brick dust eggshell garlic powder and iron filings should be added to the centre of the crease, and then folded and secured then start to add the ingredients to the bag (although not mentioned. This should be done inside a sacred space or magic circle). As you begin to have the ingredients focus on the idea of protection and appropriate rhyme or charm should be created for this example uses following chart.

But for a truly powerful, Mojo bag. It’s advisable that you choose, the corresponding ingredients to suit your own personal. Needs.

Litha, which means to stand still or stopping, is the name given to the pagan Mid summer ritual. The Summer solstice which happens around the 21^st / 22^nd of June depending on the position of the sun.

As pagans we celebrate the summer solstice as part of the wheel of the year and their some slight differences in the symbology. Some pagans see the summer solstice as the time where the Goddess took over the earth from the horned God at the beginning of spring and she is now at the height of her power and fertility. For some Pagans the Summer Solstice marks the marriage of the God and Goddess and sees their union as the force that creates the harvest’s fruits.

For me it the time when the god and goddess of the light half of the year are at their most fertile and radiate life. The God is at his peek but from this point forward he will weaken until he is final defeated and killed by the god of the dark half of the year and is reborn in mid winter.

For me this time of year is about balance and enjoying the best times while you have them it is also it a big reminder that nothing will last forever.

This is a time to celebrate growth and life for Pagans, who see balance in the world and are deeply aware of the ongoing shifting of the seasons it is also time to acknowledge that the sun will now begin to decline once more towards winter.

When celebrating midsummer Pagans draw on diverse traditions. In England thousands of Pagans and non-Pagans go to places of ancient religious sites such as Stonehenge and Avebury to see the sun rising on the first morning of summer.

A solitary pagan path can be one of the most difficult paths to follow and you can often find yourself with out warning resting along the way. As with all things in a pagans life it all about the ebbs and flows the circle of the year.

With this there come your own natural ebbs and flows there are times when everything flows perfect your home life, work life and health all seem to be working in perfect harmony and your spiritual life just fits in perfectly.

But there are times when one or more of these life aspects fall out of harmony sometime causing major problems with your life and your health. When these aspects fall out of balance that happen for a reason. They cause us to spend more time focusing on our lives in greater detail.

These times can affect us greatly and our spiritual selves can take a back seat or we can over rely on them to see us through. When we are in a group our group members can help support us, or offer advice cast spells to assist us, ritual can be created to help us. But the solitary does not have that luxury – the solitary is never truly alone thou they do have friends in the craft that will do workings for them and support them.

The solitary witch or pagan has chosen a path which relies of a personal understanding of the divine and their place within the structure life, the universe and they understand that sometimes that their attention has to focused on mundane things such as work, relationships, and money which can put a strain on their spiritual practice or it can seem that way.

This strain manifests in shorter rituals or basic observance of special days and much less magickal workings. Now many beginners to a solitary pagan path often feel the moment something starts going wrong in the daily lives that magick is the solution so out come the wand and Book of shadows.

When a beginner starts to use magicks to solve their problems a number of things can happen either the spell works and problem solved only to return at a later time stronger and with more devastation or it fails leaving you feeling worse off and let down by your deity.

The moment we start to use magicks to improve our lives is the moment we stop dealing with life correctly. I have found over the years that issues arise where magick seems to be the simple solution but when I have used magicks the issues would arrive in a different and more pronounce form at a later time often causing more distress.

As pagans and witches we stride two worlds the worlds of mortals and the worlds of magick these two worlds come together during ritual and each world influences the other at other times.

Our mortal dealings are never smooth but are filled with many experiences which help us to develop spiritually each adversity we over come leads us to a greater understanding of our self and we grow as people it is through our experiences that we learn to help others and empathise with them making us better people.

The old adage these thing are sent to test comes to mind and it reminds me that the goddess is mother and the god is father and like good parents they want us to learn those that learn that mum and dad will not bail them out every time grow into strong people who know that they have to stand on their own two feet to truly succeed while those that rely on their parent never truly fully grow as people and cope badly when things go wrong. Using magick to solve your mortal problems is like running home to mummy and daddy asking for help it not an ideal solution.

Your parents can guide you the same way the goddess and god can guide you ask for their advice this can be done in the form of meditation /prayer think of meditation / prayer as phoning home to mum and dad you may not like what they have to say but they will give the right advice.

When I have difficulties I know that my energies will be lower than normal and my mind is filled with the mundane and these things should not be taken into ritual so my ritual work often drops off and is replaced with meditation /prayer below is a prayer I use in difficult time.

Mother Moon and Father Sun always with me always present.

My life is filled with problems the silliness of daily life. (Insert your problems feelings and fears don’t list them talk about them)

Help me find the solution the way through the dark.

Father Sun, lend me your strength and wisdom to face each day, as I must.

I know you have face the same as each day weakens you I have seen you carry on

Each I now battle I face (Insert your problems feelings and fears don’t list them talk about them)

Empower me with your wisdom and help me carry on

Mother Moon, be kind and gentle as always,

Hold me and cuddle me and tell me it will come right

Let me hear your caring song once more and let me find the rest in you arms.

Hear my woes and sorrows and guide me on my way.

Mother Moon and Father Sun thank you for your time, guide me to the solution set the sign clearly to guide me through this time

The quarters or watchtowers are called to attend and protect Wiccan and some other pagan paths, rituals and circles. Each of the quarters represents an element Earth, Air, Fire and water. These elements are often assigned to a compass point the most common version is Earth – North, Air – East, Fire – South and Water – West.

Although the most common version of the quarters is used in most Wiccan groups there are slight variations there can be wider variations for the solitary practitioner as they attune themselves to a location and not a group, example if a witch can see the see the sea from his or her north facing window, mountains in the west it would be very logical for the witch to place the Water quarter in the north and the earth in the west leaving air and fire where they are.

Wherever you place the quarters or watch towers you will need to invoke in the correct way. or the way I was taught, was to visualise the guardian of the watchtower or quarter coming in to form and substance as you chant the an incantation which is used to invite the guardian to stand guard and protect the circle as well as adding the energy to the ritual. The Guardian is then held in place with the corresponding invoking pentagram (see below).

Once the ritual is complete the elements and Guardians are released with the banishing pentagram with a thank you for attending.

In Wicca, the invocation of the elements is performed after casting your circle.

As you call the element raise your arms in the blessing position. The elements are usually called starting in the East, place of Air and new beginnings. You then turn deosil (clockwise) to the South to call Fire, then to the West to call Water and to the North to call Earth, finally turning back to the East to complete the circular motion.

The traditional Wiccan way of calling the elements, which is published in many books on Wicca is as follows:

Ye Lords of the Watchtowers of the East, ye Lords of Air; I do summon call and stir you up, to witness our rites and to guard the Circle

Ye Lords of the Watchtowers of the South, ye Lords of Fire; I do summon call and stir you up, to witness our rites and to guard the Circle

Ye Lords of the Watchtowers of the West, ye Lords of Water; I do summon call and stir you up, to witness our rites and to guard the Circle

Ye Lords of the Watchtowers of the North, ye Lords of Earth; I do summon call and stir you up, to witness our rites and to guard the Circle

And the words used to dismiss the elements are :-

Ye Lords of the Watchtowers of the North, ye Lords of Earth; I thank you for attending my rite; and ere you depart to your fair and lovely realms, I bid thee Hail and Farewell.

A Pagan dies, and to his great surprise finds himself standing before some pearly gates. The guy in charge looks him over before asking, “Can I help you?”

“Where am I?” asks the Pagan.

“Beg your pardon?” the other guy asks. “You’re in Heaven, of course.”

“B-but I don’t believe…”

“Hmmm” (squinting his eyes) “are you one of them Pagan folk?” the gatekeeper asks, his mouth curling in mild distaste.

“Yes, I am… I believe I’m in the wrong place, which way is the Summerland?” our Pagan friend asks.

“It’s been ‘temporarily’ shut down for repairs,” the gatekeeper said with an ironic chuckle, “ever since we took over…err…I mean… since the people found their way to the true path.”

“Whatever,” says the Pagan, “What do I do now?”

“I’m sorry sir, but you must go to Hell. No Pagans allowed here.”

“WHAT? Hell? But I don’t believe in Hell!”

“Sorry, those are the rules, just follow the downward path to the left.”

So our Pagan friend walks down to Hell, only to find the doors open. He warily goes in and looks around to see beautiful meadows, and animals happily roaming the surrounding woods. “Hmm, so far so good.”

A voice behind him made him all but jump out of his skin. “Can I help you?”

“SHEESH! Give a guy a heart attack, why don’t you?”

“Ahem… a little too late for that, isn’t it?” the guy said with a smile.

“Who are you, anyway?” our friend asks.

“Why, I’m Satan,” the other one said with a slight bow.

“Satan?!” said our friend as he started looking around nervously.

“At your service… you’re the Pagan guy Pete called us about, right?”

“Pete… oh the guy in Heaven, yes…” he said, eyeing Satan carefully. “What’s gonna happen to me now?”

“Well, you can hang out, there’s some great fishing going on in the lake beyond these woods and, if you follow the road down this way, there’s refreshments and a little market not too far and to your right. I believe the Pagan meeting grounds are just behind that hill…” Satan went on.

“Are you serious…?” he finally asked.

Satan grinned at him innocently. “Why shouldn’t I be?” Sudden understanding filled Satan’s eyes. “You don’t believe the rumors, do you?”

Suddenly, in answer to our friend’s growing fear, the vault of the skies opened with a thunderous groan. A soul, plummeting through the sky, screamed in terror, his screams drowned by the opening of a yawning chasm full of fire and brimstone. The stench of sulfur thickened the air. Thousands of howling, suffering, tortured voices echoed through Hell. When the screaming soul finally fell into the pit, the ground shut closed with a sickening thud that rattled the earth.

Our Pagan friend all but soiled his undies as he yelped in terror. “And what was THAT all about?”

Satan rolled his eyes, and made a dismissive gesture with his hand as he said with a distasteful grimace. “Oh, just ignore that…” He rolled his eyes again. “My Christian guests refuse to have it any other way!”

This is the basis of all Dragon rituals in the practice of Dragon Magick. The practicing magician can insert his / her own music, dance, meditation, or personal rituals that they have written in appropriate places without disrupting the flow of energy. When you read through this ritual you will see that certain things are to be done at certain times other than that the Magician can do what feels right to her / him. It is important that you have all the appropriate tools and materials you will need before starting. Make any preparations so that nothing disturbs you. If you are practicing decreasing Magick it is important to remember that anywhere in the ritual that it says “circle clockwise”, you should circle counter clockwise. Another way of doing this is to cast a clockwise outer circle with a counter clockwise inner circle.

Setting up Ritual :

Begin the ritual by going to the East, with sword in power hand “draw” Magickal circle on floor around ritual area. This is done by pointing sword at the floor and seeing great flames shooting from it. Move clockwise around the circle with this flame ; end by overlapping it in the East. While drawing the circle, say: By Dragon Power, This Circle is Sealed.

Return to the altar. Point the Sword at Dragon Pentacle and say:

Dragons of Spirit, Highest of Dragons and Most Powerful, Bless This Altar With Your Fire. Let Us Be One In Magick, O Dragons Great and Wise.

Set the Water Chalice on the pentacle. With the wand in power hand, circle the chalice three times clockwise with the wand and say: Air, Fire, Earth, Bring Power Forth. Water Of Land and Sea, Purified Be.

Hold the Chalice high and say:

Draconis! Draconis! Draconis!

Sprinkle the water lightly around the circled area beginning and ending in the

East. Set the dish of salt on the Pentacle. Circle it three times clockwise with the wand and say:

Water, Air, Fire, Hear My Desire. Salt of Earth and Sea, Purified Be.

Sprinkle a few grains of salt to each corner of the altar. Circle the incense burner three times with the wand, say:

Fire of Dragons, Fire of Earth, You Are Purified. Bring Power Forth.

Circle the Incense and Herbs three times clockwise with the wand, say:

Incense Magickal, Incense Bold, Awake The Dragons, As Of Old. I Call You Purified.

Put a small amount of incense onto the burning coals. Lift the burner by the chains and touch it lightly to the Pentacle. Lift it high over the altar, say:

Draconis! Draconis! Draconis!

Then carry it clockwise around the circle, beginning and ending in the East. Return the burner to the Altar. Take up Sword in both hands and kneel before the Altar. Mentally dedicate self to the study of Dragon Magick. Project your interest and love for Dragons as strongly as possible. Continue doing so for several minutes, then rise and point the Sword at the Dragon Pentacle and say with power and confidence:

Behold, All Dragons and Rulers of Dragons, I am (magickal name), a Magician Who Seeks Dragon Magick. With (name of Sword) In My Hand, I Enter the Realm of The Dragons, Not For Physical Battle, But For Knowledge and Power. I Greet You, O Dragons Ancient and Wise, and Await Your Blessing and Guidance. Continue holding the Sword outstretched until you feel the blessing of the Dragons. It is for this reason that a light sword is best used in ritual. When the flowing power of the Dragons Blessing has lessened, lower the sword. Still holding the sword in Power hand, take up the Dragon Pentacle in the other and go to the East. Point the sword at the Eastern position and hold the Pentacle facing outward. Draw a Invoking Pentagram with the Sword (see illustration), say:

From Sairys (sair’-iss), Ruler Of The Eastern Dragons Fair, Comes Now The

Wondrous Power Of Air

Invoking Pentagram

Feel the power of Air entering body with sword outstretched. When the flow stops, go to the South. Hold up the Dragon Pentacle again , draw an invoking

Pentagram with the Sword, say:

From Fafnir (faf’-near),Ruler Of Dragons Of The South, Comes Cleansing Fire From Dragon Mouth

Note: Feel the power of Fire entering body and when it stops go to the next direction. Repeat the process of Holding up the Dragon Pentacle and drawing a invoking pentagram for each of the directions. Go to the West, say:

From Naelyan (nail’-yon) Ruler Of Dragons Of The West, Comes The Power Of Water

Draw into the body the power of Water. Go to the North and say:

From Grael (grail), Ruler Of Dragons Of The North, The Power Of Earth Does Now

Come Forth

Draw into oneself the power of Earth. When it stops return to the Altar, lay aside the Sword and Dragon Pentacle. Add the appropriate herbal incense to the incense burner according to the ritual you are performing. At this point insert the appropriate chants and workings for the particular spellworking or meditation to be performed. If there is a problem that is unsolveable by physical means or by magic then now is also the time to ask the Dragons for advice on how to solve it. The Dragons are able to give new insight into ways of solving it. Continue to feel their power and direction as their directions are written down. When finished with the spellworking, tap staff three times and chant:

I Thank You, Dragons Old And Wise, Of Earth And Fire, Water, Skies, For Sharing Wisdom Here With Me. As We Will, So Shall It Be

Always approach the Dragons as Equals not as a force to be ordered or conquered.

Set the Wine Chalice on the Pentacle. Circle it three times with the wand, say:

Cup Of Power, Cup Of Might, Dragon Magick, Be Here This Night

Drink the Wine (apple cider or grape juice may be substituted if unable to drink wine), saving back some to be poured outside on the ground later as an offering to the Dragons. If it is not possible to pour the offering outside then leave it on the Altar for about an hour, after closing your ritual. Now is the an excellent time to chant and use free-form dancing and invite the Dragons to share in the raised energy and joy of being a Magician. Talk to them about hopes and dreams, listen to see if they have suggestions or words of encouragement.

This is an opportunity for close friendships to be forged.

Closing the Ritual

To close the ritual, take the sword and go to each of the directions draw a banishing pentagram (see illustration) and say the appropriate words for that direction

To the East, say:

Go In Peace, Dragons Of The East, And Return Again In The Ritual Hour

To the South, say:

Go In Peace, Dragons Of The South, And Return Again In The Ritual Hour

To the West, say:

Go In Peace, Dragons Of The West, And Return Again In The Ritual Hour

To the North, say

Go In Peace, Dragons Of The North, And Return Again In the Ritual Hour

Return to the Altar. Raise both arms, say:

Farewell To You, O Dragons Fair, Fire, Water, Earth, and Air.Together We Make Magick Well By Power Deep and Dragon Spell. In Peace Go Now. Return Once More To Teach Me Magick and Ancient Lore.

Draconis! Draconis! Draconis!

Cut the circle with a backward sweep of the Sword across the boundary line.

This ritual is originally from Wiccan Path by Rae Beth and is a lovely ritual for solitary wiccans, and great for the newbie I found that it lack the passion of Beltaine so for the less subdued of you I have made adjustment to the original text. Now I have used this ritual before so the adaptations are not new to me. For the beginner and for some people the idea of sex and sexuality can be a difficult subject to talk about when it comes to ritual.

The one thing that you need to keep in mind is Beltane marks the union of the two deities, bringing new life to the earth and the keyword is UNION, which does mean sexual relations. We as pagan do not fear sex but embrace it’s a natural act. The reason I have included the adaptations is that it shows how you can take a very good ritual and without to much work make it personal or more in tune with the festival / Sabbat

Preparation

Before this ritual you should, spend some time, creating a wand. The wand should be 13 inches long and about half an inch thick. The tip of the wand should be carved into the shape of a phallus. Although it is acceptable to just use a branch with the bark peeled off.

The wood should either be Oak or Hazel (remember. Do not take the word from a living tree).

The wand should be placed on your alter a long, with a prepared dish of earth.

The Ritual

Cast the Circle and invoke the Lady (goddess) and the Lord (god). After the invocation, dance and chant to raise power for magical activities and then earth the power into an unlit candle, placed inside the cauldron, at the centre of the circle. Chant the following (or make up your own!):

Beltane!
I dance with delight
on Beltane’s night.
All senses freeing,
I dance for being.
The flower and the flame
of love’s own rite
shall blossom. Sun
embrace Earth, bright.

Light the candle to the Sun. This is the Beltane fire, our modern substitute for the hilltop bonfires of our ancestors. The Bel fire is an invocation to the Sun God to bring blessing and protection for the coming year. This is sacred fire with healing and purifying properties. As you light the candle, be aware of its power and significance. Say:

I light this candle to the Sun.

Now take up a dish of earth. Bless it in the name of the Goddess.

Lay your hands upon it and say:

I bless, consecrate, and set apart this earth, in the name of the Triple Goddess. May this be sacred earth, set apart for magick. For earth is of the Goddess, being her sacred body.

Remember that the Goddess is not only of the Moon, but also of the Earth and of the farthest stars. She is the Triple Goddess of the Circle of Rebirth, the Mother of All Life. Decorate the dish of earth with flowers.

Now, take a wooden wand and oil it with vegetable oil ( good quality oil something you have just bought for ritual *). Bless it in the name of the Lord of the Day, the youthful, ardent one, the Lord of Life, the God of the greenwood. Pass it swiftly through the candle flame, the Bel fire, so that it becomes magically imbued, ‘charged’, with power. Place the wand upon the dish of earth, saying as you hold it there: [1]

As the wand is to the earth,

so the male is to the female

and the Sun to our blossoming world.

Joined, they bring happiness.

May the God of Life give ___ {something you want, for example, peace on Earth}

May the Goddess bring it forth! [end 1]

Sit quietly for a while, and picture the blossoming of what you have desired in life. The spells and invocations of all of us, all working on themes like these, must eventually bear fruit, because life is on the side of peace. Leave the earth and wand upon the alter.

Walk deosil three times around the circle, and then spiral into the centre. Go evenly, with grace, meditatively. Sit beside the candle flame, allowing yourself to feel peaceful. Gaze into the flame.

The next part is different depending on whether you are man or woman.

For a Woman: visualize a red rosebud in your womb. Always your womb is the source of your creative power, whether you are pregnant with a child, an idea, a work of art or an intention. Close your eyes and picture the light from the candle streaming into your womb so that the rosebud blooms, unfolds. Hold the image for a while, feeling the silkiness, smelling the scent, the freshness, seeing the colour of the fully open rose within you. Feel the strength and power of your own fully blossomed capabilities. Say: [2]

I am woman,
strong to conceive and to create,
to give birth and to tend.

As I am daughter of the Goddess,
and blessed by the God, may I ___

{here name what you wish to bring forth in life. For example bring healing to others or write my book whatever matters to you}[end 2]

Feel the strength and creative force within your womb, the centre of your being. See the power being channelled, flowing into the desire you have just voiced. Open your eyes. Always, the rose is within you.

For a Man: Visualize a bright flame. This burns within your sexual centre, a point at the base of the stomach, just above the pubic hairline. It is your own male strength and energy which may rise through your body to be released as giving, fertilizing power, in any form, or may be the potency which impregnates, creating a physical child. It is the force which blesses and bestows, a healing and creative energy, like the shining Sun. Visualize also that you are sitting in a garden and that a rose tree is in front of you, the roses in bud. Say:

[3] man,
and in my passion is beauty,
in my warmth is life.
As I am son of the Goddess,
and blessed by the God,
I offer my strength and vitality to ____

{name the area of life, the place, activity, or commitment you choose}[end 3]

Visualize the light streaming from you to a rose upon the tree causing it to unfold, to blossom. Your flame is lowered by this effort. Much has gone out of you, the flame sinks down. Wait and watch, until a pink light streams from the rose towards your body. At its touch, just above the pubic hairline the flame resurges. It burns higher and stronger than before. Open your eyes. The flame is always within you.

* if your going to use the adapted words keep in mind that the wand is going to be a phallus and a representation of the god so add a little sexual feeling to the oiling

Adaptation to wording

[1] Place the wand in earth (like when you place Athame in the chalice) , saying as you hold it there: as the wand is to the male and to the phallus the earth is the virgina and the womb may the seed create life. And let this life be {something you want, for example, peace on Earth} let the goddess grow it and let the god protect it and give it is strength.

[2], I am she woman born of woman, woman born of Goddess I am here to create and to nurture I am a mother with or without children, and the maiden, carefree and fertile and crone the endless possibility I have the power to create to bring life and with the will of the goddess and the blessing of the God. I choose to create {here name what you wish to bring forth in life. For example bring healing to others or write my book whatever matters to you}

[3] I am he born of woman from the seed of a man growing inside her nurtured and loved and taught the roles of man. The wildness of nature is reflected in my youth, as a man I am the warrior and protector to defend the ones I love in my age I will learn compassion and wisdom I am a child of the goddess and the God. The energy vampire is someone who draws psychic or spiritual energy from another life force with out replacing it with like energy. Over the years I have found that there seem to be 3 may be 4 types of energy vampire.

The first and most common type of energy vampire in what I like to call the immature energy vampire, the second is the controller energy vampire and the third is a feeder and if there is a forth kind it seems to be a hybrid of these three.

The immature energy vampire is completely oblivious that they are feeding off of your energy in this category you will find children, those suffering illness (physical and mental), the Star (a person how is a diva who needs people to praise him or her) and the party animal (always on the go the one that is still raving a 4am while everyone else is lagging).

The immature energy vampires are not bad (in the sense of good and bad) although they are demanding they need you to offer your energy before they can start to draw off your energy. The problem is the immature likes energy and is really not bothered if the energy is negative or positive just as long has they have your attention. The good thing is that these vampires will often share your energy and return some back.

Since the goal of this vampire is to charge himself or herself up, they often have an abundance of excess energy, which they use to increase energy flow. This form of energy vampire unlike the other form can leave you feeling drained or over charged.

The controller vampire is much more skilled at drawing of specific forms of energy and have skills to force you to create this form of energy for them. This is normally negative feeling the type of people that fall into this group are bullies, bosses, abusers and the abused. This vampire can spend years slowly feeding away at all the good energy and replacing with nothing to all that is left is a hollow husk of a person behind before moving on to the next target. These vampires are usually created in the same way a folklore vampire is created one a person has been feed upon they will need to feed themselves it become a spiral drawing others in along the way.

These vampires live off negative energy the good thing is that where controller energy vampires are, you will find energy charger people (not the same as positive energy feeder) skilled at the defence against such vampire and are immune to their power and give positive energy back.

The third type of energy vampire is the feeder vampire these create situations where is energy is created for them top feed off. They dont feed off a person energy as such just from the energy created from the environment the formed. There seems to be two defined forms of the feed the negative energy feeder and the positive energy feeder.

The negative feeder is the stirrer, the backstabber, the grass, and the bitch! They like to cause people to argue and fight they never seem happy unless there is conflict as the feed of the energy that is created that feeling you get when you walk in a room here strong emotions have taken place.

The positive energy feeder is really a mature type of immature energy vampire these are the stars and divas that found that they could make people happy which in turns make them happy. These are normally people with good friends and are always ready to help although these people need happy people to keep them happy. They feed off of good emotions and are always trying to make people feel better.

The fourth kind is really not a variety of energy vampire but a hybrid there are some people who do not handle energy consumption well and react to a “bite” from an energy vampire and temporally assume the traits of the vampire that “bit them” very much a human natured experience. We all fall into this variety at some point as well all need to top up our energy. For example a woman or man at home looking after children, who are demanding his or her attention all day long will need to have the energy they have lost over the day replaced. This will require a food source! The partner if a loving and understanding one, they will see the lost energy and will freely replace that lost energy. If as in most cases the need is missed so situations will be created where woman or man that needed the attention will get it through manipulating the environment which will lead to a argument where attention is focused on the one that needs it normally by this stage it negative energy “immature energy vampire” if this situation become repetitive the person seeking the attention will create the same environment each day to cause the desired out come “controller vampire” if this situation is continue even longer the person seeking attention will learn to accept that the only way they will ever get the attention the need is to repeat the format with other people slowly turning in to a “negative feeder”.

Energy vampires are not mythical creatures sent to suck your life force away they are humans they are each and everyone of us we all need energy and in most cases we give and share freely with those we love.

It only when we get a taste for a specific emotional energy matrix that we become a true energy vampire we are all capable of energy vampirism and often take a bite sometime without thinking of we are doing.

But it is the desire of a particular emotional energy matrix that is the problem that always lead to a negative out come. I am reminded of the Celestine Prophecies and the third and forth insight –

A Matter of Energy

We now experience that we live not in a material Universe, but in a Universe of dynamic energy. Everything extant is a field of sacred energy that we can sense and intuit. Moreover, we humans can project our energy by focusing our attention in the desired direction, in that where attention goes, energy flows, influencing other energy systems and increasing the pace of coincidences in our lives. It is possible to see this energy enveloping all living things.

The Struggle For Power

To gain energy, we tend to manipulate or force others to give us attention and thus energy. When we successfully dominate others in this way, we feel more powerful, but they are left weakened and often fight back. Competition for scarce human energy is the cause of all conflict between people

There is no real way of protecting yourself from an energy vampire but if you are aware of their needs and what they desire form you? You can learn to starve them of it, example if a bully want you to be scared of him or her they are feeding off of your fear the moment you stop being scared you are of no use to them and they will find another food source.

It can be difficult to seek out energy vampires in groups of friends, as there is likely to be more than one vampire form with a group often working together to create the desired environment to feed and insuring that the group remains the same. You may even notice that when new people attempt to join the inner circle how certain friends become hostile to them.

As I have said no protection really because we cant protect against ourselves the only really issue is to try and stay away from the vampires that really drain you and change so they no longer find you desirable to eat and try not to take with out giving back.

I did mention energy charger people earlier these are very special people they are higher spiritually than most humans but still only human some are religious some are not. They flow with energy giving freely they have a connection with the divine a higher spiritual self a pureness of heart that can be seen in their eyes a child like quality and although rare their goodness can out live their life including Jesus, Buddha and Princess Diana
