The Elements–Fire
We have four base elements earth air fire and water in magicks it is desired to bring the elements into balance but each element has it own individual magicks attached so it always advisable to become familiar with elemental magicks.
Elemental magicks are untameable and do not require any skills or knowledge to perform, but knowledge is required to prevent accidents.
With fire we seem to have less of a physical connection as we do with air but we have to see fire as less that a flame it’s the spark of life it every electron and proton in every cell it the electrical energy that sparks across the brain and through the body creating movement it also dew deep inside us like a volcano waiting to erupt with passion or hate.
The focus of fire energies dwell deep inside unlike air fire has to build and explode and burn a path to it goal, there is less of a chance to accidentally release fire magicks but when you do they are very powerful and in most cases are very negative or result in negative outcomes. The major problem with fire is that it can smoulder and then explode with out warning.
For those living a magickal life it is important to learn to understand their own fire energy we must learn to control our own fires you can never master fire but you can learn to control it. You need to explores your fires those inner ranges and passions in safe out lets self defence, exercise, banging drums or even primal screaming you do need to face them and control them and we all have them buy ignoring them does not make them go away.
There are many ways to connect with fire the best is meditating on or Reading fire although it not always possible to get to the woods or the beach where campfires are permitted
One of the best was to understand Fire is to meditate on fire but before starting the meditation some basic information on fire. Fire is not just flames it the electricity of life the core of the earth, the burning stars the explosion that created the universe it is the heat the fire in our heart that sings, it is the symphony of life of creation. Our own song is part of that symphony we can change our sound by adding other element to our own fire, water brings steam which clouds our minds and hearts, air brings inspirations and desires the passions that burn deep and earth brings destruction and creation and only by keeping all elements in perfect balance can we create the sound of perfection. It not impossible to gain perfection! Just hard to maintain perfection.

Equipment
Candles and holders as many as you like
Alternatives
Campfire or bbq
Table and chair
Set Up
Place candles in holder and place on table sit in front of candles and light them. If using campfire or bbq sit in a safe position where you can see flames and the embers. (remember safety around flames)
Meditation
As you sit before the flames watch the flames see them dance in the breeze note the colours in the fire. See the light and heat of the fire radiating and pulsing outwards till you feel it touch your skin warming it and you, continue you to do this until your completely surrounded by a warm glow. Visualise your self standing and walking into the flames they will cause you no harm find the part where the flames come in contact with earth, feel the fire burning you a path deep into the earth feel your self going deeper in to the earth until you come across a fast flowing river of fire as you enter the lava you become one with it you start to feel like a blood cell being carried on it journey the lava moves deeper until you reach the centre of the earth and you find your self in a flowing ball of fire and lava find yourself swimming freely into the lava as you look out of the sphere of fire you can see the whole universe and you are the centre of all things when you are ready to return follow your journey until you return to your self
Remember to ground your self afterwards
