What Is Wicca? – Your Free Guide

Despite what others tell you or offer you about Wicca, it is a very soothing, calming and peaceful way of life that acknowledges the earth’s powers as well as the powers from within.

Wicca is an appreciation of the world we live in and harness the power and energies to control the outcomes of certain events for the best. Wicca is the appreciation of every breath, every moment, every earth change, and everybody.

Wicca is a beautiful and ancient religion loosely based on the reconstruction of the earths first religion of pagan origins. It is the reconstruction of pre-Christianity views, beliefs and traditions which came from Wales, Scotland and Ireland. While things of importance were lost over time in regards to this religion, modern-day Wiccans practice as closely to tradition as possible.

Wicca is the biggest of all the NeoPagan religions. Wiccans admire and respect the Earth as well as the Goddess and God. The main rules within the religion can be taken from the Wiccan Rede which forbids harming other people including harming oneself. It also carries the rule of the three-fold law, which states whatever energies one puts into the world will come back multiplied by three.

Most Wiccans are solitary practitioners, meaning they don’t belong to a coven or “church”. Because of thousands of years worth of religious propaganda and disinformation many Christians assume Wiccans are Satanists, even though the two beliefs are entirely different and not connected in any way. The belief systems are so different it would be like comparing Christianity to Atheists.
